The Big Stone Face II is the story’s second and last part. It tells us about the story’s conclusion. It replies if Ernest thinks the enormous stone face that looks similar is real or not. Ernest only lives in his valley. He has a very basic heart. Ernest is always willing to serve others and strives for the benefit of everyone.
Ernest is now well-known around the world for his sensible words. A new poet develops as Ernest ages. He is a valley local who only hears about Ernest. He goes back to the valley to see Ernest. Ernest, on the other hand, hopes that the poet is the lookalike. When the poet meets Ernest, he announces him to be the famous stone face lookalike, and everyone agrees. Ernest, on the other hand, disagrees and continues to hold out hope.

The second half of the tale ultimately tells everything about Ernest’s lookalike. Ernest is still living in his home valley, as we discover. He is not, however, an elderly man. Ernest, on the other hand, has a really gentle and uncomplicated heart. He makes an effort to strive for the good of everyone.
Ernest has also matured into a knowledgeable and modest man. His knowledge has now spread throughout the world. Ernest attracts visitors from all around the world. Ernest learns about a new poet as he grows older. This poet is also a valley native who lives in many cities.
When the poet learns about Ernest, he resolves to pay him a visit. He pays Ernest a visit and observes him reading a book and gazing wistfully at the mountain every now and then. Ernest insists that the poet spend the night at his home.
Ernest’s nature strikes a chord with the poet. Every evening, he observes him conversing with his neighbours. He chooses to accompany Ernest and listen to what he has to say. After spending time with Ernest, the poet learns he is a really honourable and compassionate guy.
He is all that his own poetry will never be. Only when he looks at the enormous stone face does he grasp what is going on. As a result, he feels that Ernest is the one who resembles the Great Stone Face.
Likewise, everyone else concurs with the poet. This, however, does not sit well with Ernest. He still does not think he is the one he has been searching for his entire life. As a result, he refuses to accept it. As a result, he continues to hope and wait for the person who resembles the enormous stone face to return.
